In terms of fabrication, Inconel 601 capillary can be bent and welded for compact equipment assembly. Operators need to watch out for its work hardening characteristic; gentle forming parameters are required for thin wall sizes. Typical real world uses cover thermocouple protection sleeves, furnace gas sampling tubing, petrochemical high temperature sensing lines, aerospace auxiliary measuring conduits and waste treatment plant probe tubes.
