Incoloy20 is a nickel - iron - chromium alloy, enriched with copper and molybdenum. The nickel content provides excellent resistance to chloride - induced stress corrosion cracking. Chromium, on the other hand, forms a passive chromium oxide layer on the surface of the alloy, protecting it from oxidation and corrosion in various acidic and alkaline media.
